Light Bite Charters, Fairfield County Connecticut's only full-time saltwater guide service. Whether you want to cast flies or plugs using light tackle we offer anglers of every skill level a safe and enjoyable trip. Our experienced captain will show you the latest tricks and techniques which he has perfected over years on the water to find and catch our targeted species.
Located within an hour from Manhattan and Westchester Counties lies the legendary Norwalk Islands. This area is a fisherman's shangri-la, offering some of the best angling in the state. With over 30 Islands in the chain we can fish shallow water flats, marshland, reefs and deep water structure all within minutes from the dock. This is prime habitat for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Atlantic Bonito and False Albacore, as well as numerous other inshore species.
While fishing, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenes of the Norwalk Islands, picturesque lighthouses, and a myriad of aquatic and land-based animals.
Striped Bass Populations are at all-time lows. The average angler does not catch the size or the quantity that was once available. As such, we DO NOT KEEP striped bass on my charters. This is how I make a living, please respect the fish as I do. These fish are worth more in the water than on your dinner plate.

A collection of clips showcasing the twitch and switch method I employ on my guided trips. In doing so I give the fly fisherman a target and make what is normally blind casting into exciting action-packed sight fishing for bass and bluefish.
